FineScanner - PDF Document Scanner App Free + OCR App Reviews

Usually works very well. Sometimes the image processing takes quite long - maybe that should be done in the background, so that a user can continue scanning. Yesterday Finereader crashed on me, which is very unusual though.

Everything works great, except that there are issues with the connection to the server

I am very pleased with this app and it came highly recommended from a coworker. (I have also downloaded the business card scanner). I have recommended this app to other people and also so convenient not to need to use a scanner. I can create and email PDF files no matter where I am, even in the middle of the desert. + 1 !!

Converting to searchable PDF is a miss. It does this thing where it looks the text is was printed twice. Not sure. In addition, it takes a long while for it to convert a PDF file. A 20 page PDF took me about 5-10minutes to finish converting. Im using an iPad Pro 9.7. If your looking for an app that converts pad files to scannable PDF. Try Scanbot. The app converts at half the speed quicker with no inconsistencies.

There is no trial recognize

Own the desktop version. It is really unclear if there is a one time price, monthly payments, or both.

Hopefully, you would consider folders or tabs for organizing different stores, receipts, menus, etc. to find faster or easier when storing information.

The best part is how it exports my scans to my cloud services so quickly.

It would be great to support taking photos with the volume buttons. A remote is necessary for book scanning, and for the remote to work we need the volume buttons support.

Unless you cough up the $$s, its yet another camera software that renders to PDF. I Have it (paid for) on my PC, but sorry -- no more $$ from me. It may be convenient, but not THAT essential. So I cant really say how well it works since I didnt buy into to the bait (free) and switch (oh, by the way, if you want to evaluate it, plonk down the $$s first) marketing youre engaged in.
