Great to scan and send docs from the phone.

Fast and efficient. Ive tried MANY scanning apps and this is best for a small business like mine. You have many features: Add pages to a set at different times as needed. Add photos from your phones photos. Doesnt store your scans to your phone unless you want it to. Send your photos just about anywhere via cloud or email. Send your scans as jpegs, PDFs or both. Name your scans and change names as needed. Still, the recognition and white balance are nearly terrible. Contrast needs to be almost stark white page agains matte black to recognize edges without having to crop manually. In a vehicle with ambient light and a black clipboard, I have to manually crop EACH scan 98% of the time (a waste of time) and it almost never white balances correctly, so 95% of the time I have to save my scans as b/w instead of their original color or they cant be printed later if needed without being too dark.

Dead easy to use. Some basics are automated for you. Example- point, it focuses, takes the photo, goes to check, if you like it, sends where you direct.

I specifically downloaded this app to drop an electronic signature into a document that was not otherwise marked to do so. The app performed flawlessly, except for the fact that I had to brighten the image a tad before I used it in the document. (But perhaps that matter was operator error.)

Very useful app

This latest version is a dumbed down piece of junk, slipped together with its only intent to make you PAY for the earlier ease of use I came to applaud. Stay away. Do NOT upgrade to this version. A slap in the face to us by crass consumerism, this only leads me to believe the company was purchased by someone else who saw an opportunity to stick their grubby hands in our wallets.

I love this app!!! Since I travel all the time, Fine Scanner saves me hours in tracking down receipts! Immediately upon receiving a receipt, scan it and be done. Since I always title (save file as) with the convention of YYYY MMDD & <Company_Name>, it would be wonderful to have a preference that allows you to establish a Save As convention such as YYYY MMDD & <GPS LOCATION>. In the example above, the end-user would enter the <Company_Name> while other information could be provided by the phone. Thank you to the Fine Scanner development team!!!. Wonderful app!!!

Very functional app

It used to be my usual app over the last years. Latest version have changed document processing workflow. Its not straightforward anymore. Page selection from camera roll create a mess in page order. I thought that I can fix the order in completed document but it made it even worst. Page border detection does not get improved, but instead the manual option to fix it get hidden away. I am very disappointed with low quality of the latest release.

OCR costs $30 a year! No trial. Why would I pay that before even trying it out? Sorry, deleted...

Im very happy with this app. Its fast, its user friendly and creates pdfs easily and quickly. Its a scanner on the go for your iPad!

The scans come out really bad looking, other scanners are way better, and they won $29 for OCR what a rip off

Who knew that I needed a scanner? This app is seamless from auto detecting page boundaries and snapping a photo without even touching a button to delivering the document to my cloud. I absolutely love it!!
