Recently I found this app. It is perfect scanner that I can scan all my books and save them as PDF files. Also I can share my files anywhere like Facebook, google drive and etc.

Excellent app. I use this app all the time to scan my contracts and just like a portable scanner machine. Very handy and It makes my work more easier.

I have been using this app for about 6 months. I travel a lot and it is great for keeping track of my receipts. Whenever I have a receipt, I just take a picture with the app and email myself a PDF. Works great every time.

Fills the gap in a lot of needs apple does Not address to protect their profits from licensing agreements

For printed text in a magazine, book, etc this app works well, the book OCR is interesting. I need it to OCR hand written text which the app description says it does. Luckily there is a seven day free trial for OCR because it does not work for hand written text at all. Multiple attempts ended in errors and didnt even attempt output, garbled or not. So minus a star for not working and another one lost for inaccurate app description.

FineScanner is one of the best scanner apps on the App Store. An useful app when I want to convert documents to image files and easy to save in cloud storages.

Military equipment is not always the best and this app saved me from a deadline.

Updated to iOS 9 and now the app crashes after a few moments. Cant finish what Im doing without it closing.

New update on app: September 23, 2015 I purchased the Finescanner application through iTunes on July 13, 2013 for $2.99. I have loved this application on my iPad and iPod. This application use to be one of the most useful apps I have ever had on my iPad. And, recently I have upgraded to the [FineScanner-Scan and recognize multipage documents in PDF OR JPG, Recognize tex (OCR)] last month on August 7, 2015 for an additional $1.99. Recently, there has been an update through apple for IOS 9.0.1 and I just upgraded on September 19, 2015 and after this update I noticed when I have tried to use the application that it closes unexpectedly constantly. There needs to be an update link to fix this issue soon on iTunes so I can begin to use my application like I use to in the past. More comments regarding this app: I posted this part of the review below on August 3, 2015 and still nothing I state below about the DOC format has been corrected. My comment above is highly important because this is a new issue in addition to what I will write below.: When I tried to use the DOC format with OCR, this format is not able to be opened on the actual app to see the quality converted, which would be nice to see before i email myself to be able to see a preview like I can with a PDF. Also once I email myself the document to open on my MacBook Pro through Microsoft Word, the picture on the document is there but not quite converted properly. The picture appears broken up in segments, which does not match the original scanned photo taken on the app. There are also times the text format does not match the original document meaning sometimes the text is all jumbled together when I save it in DOC format with OCR. This does not occur when I save it in PDF format with OCR on the app. I would like if this could be fixed. Also I dont understand why when I used myself documents why the document will open under Microsoft word, but not Pages through Apple. I believe this software should be compatible with both Microsoft and Pages. It states when I try to open it through Pages that it cant open RTF when thats not the format I saved it on through the Finescanner application. Also I think it would be nice if I could upload PDF from my email on the Finescanner app so I can make those OCR friendly. I did rate this app a 3 at first, and now Im dropping it to a 2 with these problems above. Fix these issues and I will rate it higher:) The two shows how strongly I disapprove of the fact Abby still has not fixed my first complaints and now the app is constantly crashing of the IOS 9.0.1 UPDATE! =(

I really do love this app especially when I need to send a copy of a document via email and it needs to be done in a hurry.

What a pleasure to find an app that just does well, seamlessly, intuitively exactly what it claims to do. The OCR capacity is very impressive.

My favorite scanning app. I use it as a tool to straighten photos of square objects like paintings, protected PowerPoint slides, etc

I love that I can search for my documents with iPhone searchlight. Great job!!!
